Chandigarh, November 7, 2025: NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh commemorates 150 Years of 'Vande Mataram' national song by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, celebrated the 150th anniversary of the iconic song 'Vande Mataram' today.
The event honoured the Prime Minister's declaration of the day as a historic occasion. A heartfelt rendition of the song was performed collectively by Dr Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, Dr Sonia Sharma, Programme Coordinator, NSS and NSS Volunteers by creating an atmosphere of patriotism and pride.
The ceremony served as a reminder of the unity and spirit that 'Vande Mataram' continues to inspire across the nation.
