NSS Panjab University organised blood donation camp
NSS Panjab University, Chandigarh organised a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Club & Blood Bank Society, Sec-37 to celebrate Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti at UIET Mechanical Engineering Department. As many as 42 student volunteers registered for donating the blood during this event.

Chandigarh May 1, 2025: NSS Panjab University, Chandigarh organised a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Club & Blood Bank Society, Sec-37 to celebrate Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti at UIET Mechanical Engineering Department. As many as 42 student volunteers registered for donating the blood during this event.
Inaugural ceremony was marked by planting trees keeping in mind the environment sustainability. Director RDC, PU Prof Meenakshi Goyal graced the event as Chief Guest and applauded the initiatives taken by the NSS and Mechanical Department in celebrating the Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti with such a noble cause of blood donation for motivating the young generation. UIET Director Prof. Sanjeev Puri also graced the event.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Dr. Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS, Prof Shankar Sehgal, Coordinator Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Dr. Vivek Kapoor, NSS Programme Officers.
