Now register for covid vaccination in sewa kendras: DC

Ludhiana: In order to facilitate senior citizens and persons with co-morbidities with hassle-free registration on Co-win portal, the administration has initiated registration facility for Covid-19 jab in all 38 sewa kendras of the district.

Divulging more, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that registration facility would be offered by the Sewa Kendras at the charges of Rs. 30 only.

He told that beneficiaries have to bring their Aadhar card, mobile phone along while visiting the Sewa Kendras and a medical certificate in case of having co-morbidities.

He said that people above the age of 60 and people older than 45 with co-morbidities are eligible for the vaccination in this third phase of the drive which had started on March 1,2021.

He also said that the vaccination registration in Sewa Kendras is an OTP system, where password would be sent on beneficiaries’ phones so all eligible beneficiaries must carry their mobiles while visiting Sewa Kendras.

He added that the beneficiaries would receive all the necessary information regarding their vaccination on their registered mobile numbers.

The Deputy Commissioner further appealed all the eligible beneficiaries to come forward to get Covid jab as it will protect from infectious disease.
