Now permission for film shooting through Invest Punjab Business First Portal

Nawanshahr, June 1, 2022: The Punjab Government has set up an online single window system for film shooting permission through Invest Punjab Business First Portal in which application would be granted within 15-days.

Giving more details, DC Navjot Pal Singh Rndhawa said that the web based single window system has been established by the government for speedy clearance and to facilitate the film industry. He said that the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion is the nodal department for granting permission. He said that after submission of application by any production house, the application would be automatically transferred to the concerned deputy commissioner who will further send the application to police, fire department, SDMs, MC, housing and development, panchayat departments which would send the NOCs within the timeline.

He exhorted the film industry to use the platform for the speedy clearance of the application.
