Notification issued for reserved seats of Municipal Corporation Dharamshala

Dharamshala: Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati has issued a notification for reservation of seats of Municipal Corporation Dharamshala here today. According to the notification, Ward number-1  Forseth Ganj  is now reserved for women, ward number-2  Bhagsunag also for woman, ward number-3 McLeodganj is open for  general, ward number-4 Kashmir house is also open for  general, ward number-5 Khajjanchi  Mohalla reserved for women, ward number-6 Kotwali market for  general , Ward Number-7 Secretariat  is reserved for Women, Ward Number-8 Sports Complex is fixed for Scheduled Caste, Ward Number-9 Sakoh is open for  General, Ward Number-10 Shyam Nagar  for Scheduled Caste, Ward Number-11 Ram Nagar is open for  general public, Ward Number-12 Badol for Women, ward number-13 Dari is open for  general, ward number-14 Kand for Scheduled Caste woman, ward number-15  Khaniara for  woman, ward number-16 for Siddapur Scheduled Tribe and ward number-17 for Siddwadi has been reserved Scheduled Tribe woman.

The Municipal corporation elections could be conducted in December this year. At the movement Himachal has only two municipal corporations, Shimla and Dharamshala.
