NIPM Student Chapter at UIAMS PU Relaunched with Expert Session on “Honing Human Skills for Taming AI”
The Student Chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) at UIAMS, Panjab University, was formally relaunched at the institute campus with an insightful expert session on the theme “Honing Human Skills for Taming AI.”
Chandigarh, February 27, 2026: The Student Chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) at UIAMS, Panjab University, was formally relaunched at the institute campus with an insightful expert session on the theme “Honing Human Skills for Taming AI.”
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Director of UIAMS, who underlined the importance of professional bodies like NIPM in strengthening industry–academia collaboration. She emphasized the need for students to develop strong human and leadership skills alongside technological competence in the AI-driven professional world.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries of NIPM, including: Mr. S. P. Bansal, RVP North; Mr. Ravinder Chadha, Immediate Past Chairman & NC Member; Mr. A. K. Bakshi, Chairman; Mr. Jorawar Singh, Honorary Secretary; and Mr. Vikas Puri, Executive Committee Member.
An enriching expert session on “Honing Human Skills for Taming AI” was delivered by Mr. Jorawar Singh, Corporate Head – HR, Continental Devices India Pvt Ltd. He shared practical insights on how emotional intelligence, adaptability, ethical judgment, and communication skills will remain irreplaceable even as AI continues to transform workplaces.
The entire program was coordinated by Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer at UIAMS, who ensured the smooth conduct of the event and active student participation with more than 100 students.
The relaunch of the NIPM Student Chapter was formally announced during the program, followed by the nomination of the Student Executive Committee. The newly nominated office bearers are:

Anshu Kumari (Vice President – MBA Banking & Insurance)
Navnish (Secretary – MBA Banking & Insurance)
Ishita Sharma (Executive Member – MBA Infrastructural Management)
The program proved highly beneficial for management students, providing practical industry perspectives on the evolving importance of human skills in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, who expressed gratitude to the NIPM dignitaries, the keynote speaker, faculty members, and students for making the relaunch and expert session a grand success.
