Ludhiana, February 23, 2016. The college students of PCTE gathered around to catch a glimpse of a renowned punjabi Singer “Ninja” and model and actress “Himanshi Khurana”. Both of them visited PCTE to promote Box Cricket League, Punjab. Ninja is a well-known Punjabi singer and lyricist who has taken a place in the hearts of audience with his brilliant singing skills. BCL is a unique collaboration of sports, celebrities and entertainment. There will be 200 celebrities with 10 teams in the league. The 10 teams of Box Cricket League 2016 belong to 10 cities. The teams: Ahmedabad Express, Kolkata Babu Moshayes, Chandigarh Cubs, Delhi Dragons, Jaipur Raj Joshiley, Chennai Swaggers, Mumbai Tigers, Pune Anmol Ratan, Rowdy Bangalore and Lucknow Nawabs.

Punjabi singer, Ninja has sung many marvelous and famous songs. He came into limelight with his marvelous song “Pindaan Wale Jatt” which was highly appreciated by the youth generation, whereas, Himanshi Khurana is an Indian model and actress. She received fame as an actress along with her appearance in the Punjabi movie Sadda Haq. She is also known for her work as a model in many Punjabi music videos.

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes on the occasion said, “Co-curricular activities help students to develop various facets of the personality. Also, Cricket is world’s second most popular spectator sport, can provide a fun way for children of all ages to stay or get in shape. Cricket improves speed, agility, flexibility and reflexes; it increases concentration, the ability to think strategically and to utilize decision making skills.
