Nikhil Gangta first Himachali to score unbeaten double hundred in under 25 match

Dharamsala, December 27, 2013: In a major achievement and glory for Himachal Cricket, Nikhil Gangta has scored a maiden double hundred in the under 25 match verses  Hyderabad today, being played at Hyderabad.
This is a first time when a player from Himachal has scored an unbeaten 200 at the national level, and its a great historic day for Himachal cricket. The team has also managed to score 405/4 on the opening day of the match against a very strong Hyderabad team, which again is a record for the state cricket.
Surinder Thakur, president Shimla District Cricket Association said that Nikhil Gangata who hails from shimla,  has immense potential and talent and  the day is not far when the talented lad from the district would be selected for the national team.
