NGO hands over two oxygen concentrators in war against covid-19
DC thanks NGO for valuable contribution in this crisis
Ludhiana: In order to assist the administration in the war against Covid-19 pandemic, a local NGO 'Buland Honsle 'on Monday handed over two oxygen concentrators to the district administration.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma received the concentrators and thanked the office bearers for the help to the administration in this hour of crisis.
He said that these oxygen concentrators are of immense help for the patients in home isolation by providing life-saving gas to them. He said that these medical devices would help to reduce burden on the oxygen cylinders as the equipment concentrates oxygen from ambient air by capturing and filtering the air.
He added that it was a great service of humanity as in this war against pandemic contribution by every individual was valuable.
He told that with the active support and cooperation of the people of Ludhiana, the war against Covid-19 would be won. He also lauded the role being played by NGOs for giving a healing touch to people in this hour of crisis.
On the occasion, Red Cross Secretary Balbir Aery, NGO office bearers Charanjeet Singh Takkar, Yadwinder Singh, Gagan Sareen and others were present.
