Next weekly health camp at Guwahati Press on December 16

Guwahati: The city based Apollo Hospitals information centre will organize the next weekly health camp at Guwahati Press on December 16. The camp will starting at 3 pm and continue till 5 pm, where the participants will get the opportunity to check various health parameters including hemoglobin, blood sugar, uric acid and creatinine in their blood samples. The reports of the samples will be available by Wednesday, informed the centre head SN Farid.
The last Saturday camp at the press club premises was conducted by Assam’s well-known healthcare institution Dispur Hospital on December 9, where 30 participants gave blood samples for testing thyroid stimulating hormone. The camp was supervised by health workers Biswajit Das and Umar Faruque.
Organized under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs for the benefit of press club members along with their dependants at the club premises, the December 23 OPD clinic will be graced by a senior physician, with whom the participants can consult on their blood reports and get necessary advices.

Till date, physicians from Apollo Chennai Hospital, SIMS Hospital Chennai, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore,
Medanta the Medicity Hospital, Down Town Hospital, GNRC Hospitals, Nemcare Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Ayursundra Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Barthakur Clinic, Wintrobe Hospital, Narayana Hospital etc have attended the media health camps.
