Jalandhar, April 4, 2014: Education New Zealand Fair, showcasing the best of New Zealand education, will be held on April 5 at Hotel President, Jalandhar.
The Education New Zealand Fair, Jalandhar is being organised by New Zealand Specialist Agents of Punjab, with the support of Education New Zealand (ENZ), the New Zealand government’s education promotion and business development agency and Immigration New Zealand. This fair is a part of a series of education fairs, which will be organized in various parts of the country.
Representatives from over 25 leading New Zealand institutes from across diverse disciplines such as engineering, management, hospitality, multimedia, biotechnology, health sciences and information technology will be participating at the fair.
New Zealand has a multicultural society that welcomes students from different countries and offers a world-class education system including world’s leading applied technical vocational education and training and skills development.  During the Education Fair the students and the parents will have an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about education options in NZ from the participating institutions. During this fair, students will also have a chance to meet with the visa officers from Immigration New Zealand and the representatives of Education New Zealand (Departments of Govt. of New Zealand).
“New Zealand’s education system is highly regarded globally and the new courses are designed to better meet the needs of all students as well as institutions, while still providing the same quality education,” says Ziena Jalil, Regional Director South Asia for Education New Zealand.
In addition to a quality, internationally recognised education in a safe and tolerant environment, lifestyle options and job-ready graduates, New Zealand also offers all international PhD students the same fees as domestic New Zealand students.
“The Education New Zealand fair will help strengthen the strong and growing education relationship that India and New Zealand share. In the last few years New Zealand has witnessed an increased interest and an overwhelming response from the Indian student community, primarily from Northern States. More than 50 per cent of Indians pursuing higher studies in New Zealand are from North India. With the growing popularity, we look forward to growing this relationship further and providing the future stars of India exciting and new education opportunities and career pathways,” says Jalil.
“New Zealand Specialist Agents (NZSA) will be present at the fair to guide students, parents, teachers, student counselors and working adults seeking educational opportunities and access to the latest information on New Zealand’s education offerings. The NZSA are part of an exclusive group of agents that meet strict quality and recruitment criteria, which is administered by Education New Zealand, in consultation with Immigration New Zealand,” says Munish Sekhri – Spokesperson of the group organising the event in Jalandhar.
The Jalandhar event will provide a unique opportunity to the visitors to discover how New Zealand offers the perfect balance of world-class education, lifestyle and safety with tourism.
