New Year kickstarted by distributing happiness bags among needy 

Chandigarh: More than 200 students of Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, took part in an extension activity in the vicinity of their respective cities. They kickstarted the new year by distributing Happiness Bags among the needy. This pandemic has been a crisis like no other, and its impact has been felt the most by the needy and the poor. The Happiness Bags comprised of essential commodities, ranging from soaps, toothpastes, clothes, blankets, stationary to food which were distributed while following social distancing norms. The students extended their kindness by distributing these bags that aimed to bring smiles and happiness among the people.

Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to spread happiness in these difficult times.
