New PG, self-finance and weekend courses to be launched from next Academic Session in DLC SUPVA; VC Dr. Amit Arya chairs the Admission Committee Meeting
Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) is preparing to introduce new courses from the upcoming academic session. This matter was discussed in the Admission Committee meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya. The Vice Chancellor instructed to prepare a detailed report regarding seat allocation, syllabus, and fees for these new courses so that they can be finalized and launched in a timely manner.
Rohtak, February 25, 2026: Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) is preparing to introduce new courses from the upcoming academic session. This matter was discussed in the Admission Committee meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya. The Vice Chancellor instructed to prepare a detailed report regarding seat allocation, syllabus, and fees for these new courses so that they can be finalized and launched in a timely manner.
Chairing the Admission Committee meeting, Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya said that the Department of Design and Visual Arts should introduce some new postgraduate courses in the new academic session, in accordance with market and current trends. He emphasized the need to introduce some new courses under the self-financed scheme and to increase weekend courses for working professionals. Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha also gave necessary input during the meeting.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya said that the topics for weekend courses should be chosen in accordance with current trends. He instructed that the university's prospectus should be prepared on time, providing complete details, including fees and other information, for all UG and PG courses. The process, from registration to counseling, should be student-friendly. He also directed that the online portal should function smoothly.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the need to obtain early approval for new PG, self-financed, and weekend courses to be started in the upcoming academic session 2026-27. Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Ajay Kaushik, FC of the Design Department Dr. Shaili Khanna, FC of Film and Television Mahesh TP, FC of Architecture and Planning Ajay Bahu Joshi, and others attended the meeting. Officials concerned informed that work has already begun in this direction and a complete blueprint for the new courses will be prepared soon.
