Neeraj and Shalu emerge as winners of the Mixed Doubles Title

The six-day Badminton Tournament 2025 at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing & Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) concluded today with thrilling matches across student and faculty categories, showcasing remarkable enthusiasm and sporting spirit.

Neeraj and Shalu emerge as winners of the Mixed Doubles Title

Rohtak, September 30, 2025: The six-day Badminton Tournament 2025 at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing & Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) concluded today with thrilling matches across student and faculty categories, showcasing remarkable enthusiasm and sporting spirit.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya said that sports are as vital as academics in shaping well-rounded individuals. Congratulating the participants of the badminton tournament, he said that such events strengthen the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition among students and faculty members. He also said that in the near future, a sports calendar would be made and a plethora of sports competitions shall be organized round the year.

In the student category, Vamsi Narayan Das defeated Ansh and won the Men's Singles title. Pratik Tyagi and Vamsi Narayan Das won the Men's Doubles Title.

In the women's category, Gunjan won the singles title by defeating Myra. Gunjan and Myra won the Doubles final by defeating Sneha and Jyoti. Navneet and Gunjan emerged victorious in the Mixed Doubles.

 

Vinay Kumar, Head of the Visual Arts Department, won the Singles Title in the teaching category, and Neeraj Malik, Director of Sports, won the Men’s Singles in non-teaching category. Neeraj Malik and Shalu won the Mixed Doubles title. All winners were honored by varsity top officials, in the presence of senior faculty and staff members.
