Jalandhar, September 8, 2023: Under the dynamic leadership and guidance of Brigadier Ajay Tiwari, SM, Group Commander, Jalandhar NCC Group and Colonel Maninder Singh Sachdeva, Commanding Officer, 2 Punjab Girls Battalion, the NCC Army Wing of PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar organized various activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, in accordance with the key themes of the G20 summit. These endeavors were organized under the banner of 'Puneet Sagar Abhiyan'. In light of the pressing global challenges related to environmental conservation and the reduction of plastic pollution, the NCC Department  has undertaken a proactive role in addressing these issues.  NCC cadets took a resolute stand against plastic pollution by organizing a pledge ceremony and a Nukkad Natak. With unwavering commitment, they vowed to say no to Plastic, thus spreading awareness through a powerful street play. Not only this, the NCC cadets fostered eco-consciousness through a Quiz Competition themed on G20's environmental concerns.
