NCC Cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College Shine at Inter Group Competitions at NCC Academy, Ropar

Jalandhar, August 5, 2025: The NCC cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College brought laurels to the institution with their outstanding performance in the Inter Group Competitions held at NCC Academy, Ropar. The camp witnessed spirited participation from cadets across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh. Recognizing the achievements of these young cadets, Principal Dr. Suman Chopra felicitated them in her office. She applauded their commitment and hard work, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in all future endeavours.In a media brief she said that UO Risik Mohapatra participated in the Inter-Group Shooting Competition, showcasing sharp skills and discipline. CPL Samridhi Kaushal played a key role in the Field Signal team event, helping her team secure first position among all contingents of the Jalandhar Group. Her outstanding performance also earned her selection for Pre-Thal Sena Camp stage two. SGT Ansh displayed commendable aptitude in the Map Reading Competition and successfully qualified for the Pre-Thal Sena Camp stage one. Cadet Anchal showcased exceptional physical and technical abilities, securing first position in both Tent Pitching and Obstacle Training events. Further, Cadet Sukhpreet Kaur and Cadet Anshu represented the college with pride in the prestigious G.V. Mavlankar Shooting Competition held at Chandigarh, a testament to their marksmanship and dedication. Meanwhile, CPL Jatin demonstrated strong tactical acumen by participating in the Field Craft and Battle Craft Competition.Dr. Chopra also appreciated the efforts of the NCC Associate Officer (Lt.) Dr. Karanbir Singh who guided the cadets throughout.
