NCC Air Wing cadets bring glory to Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, July 18, 2019: The NCC Air Wing cadets added to the illustrious records of Lyallpur Khalsa College by lifting the overall trophy in CATC camp held at MGN Public School Adarsh Nagar Jalandhar from 29th June to 8th July 2019. College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra felicitated the achievers and Flying Officer Manpreet Singh Lehal. A total of 315 cadets from colleges and schools in and around Jalandhar participated and competed in a number of events. Cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College won positions in 100m, Drill, 200m, Solo Singing, Group Dance and collected the maximum number of points to become the overall winner. The cadets also widened the horizons of their knowledge by visiting the aircraft station Adampur and attended a series of lectures on Traffic rules, Drug Abuse, First Aid delivered by NDRF. Principal Dr.Samra motivated the cadets to keep working hard and achieve greater heights with due regards to social responsibilities. Dr.Manohar Singh, Head, Department of Computer Science and IT was also present on this occasion.
