Dharamsala, September 14, 2022: Preparations have been started for the proposed Tourism Ministers' 3 days National Workshop in Dharamsala from September 18. In this regard, a meeting was conducted on Wednesday at Dharamsala, which was chaired by  Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal. Deputy Commissioner.

Earlier in June this year Dharamsala was the venue of a three days national conference of chief secretaries,  which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Now the Tourism Ministers' National Workshop in Dharamsala shall be the second such event in the city within a year.

Dr Jindal said, “For Tourism Ministers' National Workshop in Dharamshala, a plan is being prepared by the police for security arrangements. Liaison officers will also be appointed along with tourism ministers coming from outside states, necessary instructions have also been given for this.”

Deputy Commissioner Dr Nipun Jindal said that Dharamshala would also get a new identity through national level events. “I have instructed the officers of the IPH department to make better arrangements for drinking water and the Public Works Department for proper maintenance of roads,” said DC.
