National Voter’s Day celebrated at GHSC-10

Chandigarh, January 25, 2023: Electoral Literacy Club & NSS Wing of Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh celebrated National Voter’s Day today. Host of activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing & Essay Writing Competitions on the theme 

‘Nothing like voting, I will vote for sure’ were organised. A Voter’s Pledge was also taken along with the song in the background ‘Mai Bharat hoon’ to mark the occasion. 

Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the College applauded the efforts of Electoral Literacy Club & NSS Wing and talked about the main objective behind the celebration of National Voter’s Day. She further emphasized that it is celebrated to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrolment, especially for new voters.
