National Unity Day celebrated in Doaba College

Jalandhar, November 2, 2022: NSS Unit, NCC Wing, PG Department of Political Sciences and DCJ Bikers Club of Doaba College, Jalandhar jointly celebrated Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on National Unity Day under the banner of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”. 

An exhibition was organized on the life of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Prof. Sukhwinder Singh, Dr. Arshdeep Singh, Dr. Vinay Girotra and other faculty members welcomed the Chief Guest Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari. Students from different streams visited the exhibition and gained knowledge about the life of Sardar Patel. On second day “Rashtriya Ekta Cycle Rally” was organized in which forty students and seven staff members participated. 

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari enlightened the staff members and students regarding the life and works of the Ironmen of India, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. 

All the staff members and students of the college also took pledge to preserve Unity, Integrity and Security of the Nation.
