National level Quiz on Yoga

Jalandhar, May 22, 2022: NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a National Level Online Quiz on Yoga. This quiz was planned to spread awareness about yoga. 

Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the winners of the quiz and said that yoga is legacy of our country and it has rapidly gained acceptance at international level. He added that yoga can bring more harmony and integrity in the diverse country like India. Yoga is important for physical and mental well- being.  

Chief Program Officer Prof Satpal Singh informed that there was massive participation from all over India as 402 participants attempted the quiz and top first 15 students will get certificates. He added that in this time bound quiz participants from Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnatka, Bihar, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Bergamo, Italy competed. Samriti Manhas & Pragiti Sharma from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, Nancy from Govt. PG Haryana, Priti Bisht & Sanjana from RIMT University, Komalpreet Kaur from DAV College of Education, Kalpana Nahar from Seshadharipuram College, Karnatka, Karandeep Singh, Navneet Kaur, Gaganpreet Kaur & Mantej Samra from Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, Sagar Mehra from GNDU College, Pathankot, Neha & Muskan from Govt. Education College, Jalandhar, Navneet Kaur from Govt. Education College, Fazilka were the first top 15 performers.
