National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula Organizes Common Yoga Protocol Practice Session
In the run-up to the 11th International Day of Yoga to be celebrated on 21st June 2025, the National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula (Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India) organized a Common Yoga Protocol practice session on 19th June 2025 from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM in the institute premises.

Panchkula, June 19, 2025: In the run-up to the 11th International Day of Yoga to be celebrated on 21st June 2025, the National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula (Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India) organized a Common Yoga Protocol practice session on 19th June 2025 from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM in the institute premises.
This year’s theme, “Yoga for Self and Society — One Earth, One Health,” was at the heart of the event. The session was guided by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Agnihotri, General Secretary, Bharatiya Yoga Sangh, Chandigarh. A live demonstration of the Yoga Protocol was effectively presented by students of the institute — Tisha Dhal, Anamika Sharma, Shyam Shukla and Dikshansh.
The session was conducted under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Dean (Academic & Administration)Prof. Gulab Pamnani, Dean In-charge Prof. Satish Gandharve (Dean I/C). The Yoga Day Coordinator Dr. Gaurav Garg, Member secretary Dr. Akanksha Rana, along with faculty members, staff, andbstudents actively participated in the session.
The session included a series of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation practices, providing participants with a sense of physical and mental balance and well-being.
Main Celebration on 21st June: The main celebration of the International Day of Yoga 2025 will be held on 21st June at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula, featuring extended yoga session inclusive of public participation aimed at promoting holistic health and wellness.
