National Girl Child Day celebrated at DCM Presidency School

Ludhiana: National Girl Child Day is celebrated on January 24 every year, and aims to highlight the inequalities faced by a majority of the girls in India. Spreading awareness on the importance of protecting a girl child, students of DCM Presidency School, of Classes III to V wrote an article on “My Dream –My aim” and students of Classes VI to VIII made posters on “Girl Child Rights’.

Principal Rajni Kalra appreciated the efforts of the students and said “Let her live, let her grow with freedom and pride.”
