National BJP Leader Grewal strongly condemns petrol bomb attack on party office in Sangrur

Ludhiana, July 27 2026: National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan today strongly condemned the petrol bomb attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party office in Sangrur, describing it as a cowardly, anti-national and desperate act aimed at creating fear among democratic forces in Punjab.
Grewal wrote on his social media platforms, particularly X, that every attack on a BJP office, a nationalist worker or a democratic institution is not merely an attack on a political party but an attack on India’s democracy, constitutional values and national unity. He said that such incidents expose the dangerous designs of foreign-sponsored anti-India elements that have repeatedly attempted to destabilise Punjab through violence, intimidation and terrorism.
He said that the people of Punjab fully understand the sinister designs of foreign powers and their cross-border handlers, who continue to spread hatred and violence from foreign soil.
Grewal said that those working as foot soldiers, local operatives, criminal associates or alleged shooters for foreign-backed networks are nothing more than disposable tools who are used to carry out unlawful acts before eventually being abandoned by their handlers. He said that the law would eventually catch up with every individual who chooses the path of violence over peace and democracy.
He said that Punjab paid an unbearable price during the dark years of terrorism, and no patriotic citizen wants to see those painful days return. He stated that every attempt by anti-India elements to revive fear, communal tension or separatist violence would fail because the people of Punjab stand firmly with the Constitution of India and the unity of the nation.
Adding, he said that the petrol bomb attack on the BJP office was another reminder that anti-national forces continue to test the resolve of the Indian State through acts of intimidation. However, he asserted that neither violence, bombs, threats nor foreign propaganda would ever silence nationalist voices or weaken the BJP’s commitment to serving the people of Punjab.
Grewal said that democratic politics can never be defeated through acts of terror. He added that every such attack only strengthens the resolve of nationalist workers to continue serving society with greater determination and courage.
He said that Punjab requires peace, development, investment, employment and social harmony—not imported extremism, gangsterism or foreign-sponsored propaganda. The youth of Punjab deserve opportunities in education, entrepreneurship and employment instead of being misled by anti-India elements operating from abroad.
Grewal further said that any individual, irrespective of location or affiliation, who conspires against India’s sovereignty, supports terrorism, promotes separatist violence or encourages criminal activities must face the full force of Indian law. He expressed confidence that the country’s security agencies possess the capability and determination to expose every conspiracy and dismantle every network operating against India’s national interests.
Referring to the Sangrur incident, Grewal appreciated the prompt response of the Punjab Police and other investigating agencies. He said that a professional, impartial and evidence-based investigation was essential to identify every person involved in the conspiracy and bring them before the law.
