Narnaul remains coldest in Northern region with -3 degree Celsious, freezing water taps

Jalandhar, January 8, 2013:  In South Haryana, Narnaul, bordering district of Rajasthan remained the coldest in the region during the last 24 hours  with the lowest temperature recorded at -3 degree Celsius, throwing normal life out of gear.

The water supply was also affected, freezing the taps in the last morning.

According to Ram Chander Saini, a property dealer, talking on telephone said," The water supply taps in his house freezed and there was ice like conditions in the fields. The visibility also affected normal flow of rail and road traffic." He said due to bone chilling cold weather, leafs of the trees also burnt.
