NADD Foundation’s multi-city festival “Music for Harmony 2021-22”on Nov 12

Amritsar, November 6, 2021: The inaugural session of NADD Foundation’s multi-city classical music fest “Music for Harmony 2021-22” now going to be presented in collaboration with National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) and Punjab Sangeet Natak Academy (PSNA) on  12th November at Virsa Vihar, INA Colony, Amritsar, from 6 pm onwards.

The concert will feature Kumar Gaurav Kohli (Vocal), Bhupinder Jogi (Tabla) , Amarjit Singh (Harmonium), Pt Partha Bose  (Sitar Recital) and Pt Durjay Bhaumik (Tabla).

The main aim of this nationwide Classical Music festival which will be also held in cities like Kolkata, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Bengaluru, New Delhi & Nainital is to Celebrate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' and to spread the message of harmony through the presentation of classical music by stalwarts.

The concert, which is currently in its eighth year, is presented by NADD Foundation (Noble Art Documentation & Development), a non-profit organization founded by Durjay Bhaumik in the year of 2007 to promote Indian classical music and its deep-rooted cultural heritage.

Pt Durjay Bhaumik of NADD says “We organize these concerts every year, and tour different states over a couple of months, with several celebrated artistes from the Indian musical fraternity. Secondly, we always try to familiarize the artists of remote locations of a particular city to the national and international audience through these outreach activities. This year we are celebrating our country’s 75th Independence Day through the presentation of 8th session of classical music across India to honor the sacrifices and struggles our freedom fighters made to make India independent from British rule”.

NADD Foundation, which has travelled to Indore, Shimla, Nainital, Haldwani, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chapra, Jhansi, Mumbai and Vadodra with the “Music for Harmony” concerts so far, and continues to engage in philanthropic activities to further the propagation of Indian classical music among the masses.
