Musical Nite by students of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute

Ludhiana, October 28, 2013: A musical Nite by the students of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute was organised at Rose Garden here on Sunday evening.

At the outset, Dr Charan Kamal Singh, Director of the institute welcomed the dignitaries and informed about the state of the art infra-structure of the institute. The students of the institute gave mesmerising performances including “Neele neele ambar par” by Satwinder Singh; “Ab Mujhe raat din” by Shivam; “Odhni od ke Nachu” by Nidhi and group performances of “Tum hi ho bandhu” and “Sanwar Loon” by little girls of the institute.

Finally Gurleen Kaur sang “Tinka Tinka”, “Batdmeez Dil” and “Brown Rang”.

Chief Guest of the evening, Harcharan Singh Golwaria, Mayor of Ludhiana was highly impressed by the performances by the students of the institute. He lauded the training being imparted by Ishmeet Singh Music Institute to the students of all ages.

Presiding over the function, Rajat Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana, was so impressed by the performances, that he desired that such musical nites be organised every Sunday evening at Rose Garden by Ishmeet Singh Music Institute.

Rahul Tewari, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana was especially impressed with the performances by Gurleen Kaur who made the audience of Rose Garden tap on their feet.

Tewari promised all help from the corporation for the success of the future musical nites.
