Municipal Commissioner accedes to demand for issue of NOC to industrial units operating in Mixed Land Use Areas in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, January 23, 2014: A special meeting of CICU, UCPMA & LETS delegation comprising Avtar Singh President, CICU, Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, CICU, Manmohan Singh Ubhi, Director LETS and Ram Lubhaya & others was held today with Rahul Tewari, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Ludhiana for issue of No Objection Certificate (NOC) to industrial units operating in Mixed Land Areas such as Shimla Puri, New Janta Nagar and 73 other colonies of Ludhiana which have been permitted to operate upto 2018 as per policy of state government. Isha Kalia, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana was also present in this meeting.

Rahul Tewari, Municipal Commissioner, Ludhiana agreed to issue NOC to all industrial units operating in Mixed Land Areas Ludhiana fulfilling conditions as under: no property tax is due for payment, water and sewerage charges dues are fully paid and self attested declaration on letter head of industrial unit by the industrialist that unit is established before 2008.

For issuing on the spot NOC, Special Help Desk will start functioning from 10 am onwards on       24-01-2014 at Zone-C office of Municipal Corporation Ludhiana.
