Sahnewal (Ludhiana), June 19, 2025: Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Thursday carried out a surprise inspection in Sahnewal sub-tehsil and sought public support in complete elimination of corruption.
During the visit to the Sahnewal sub-tehsil office and seva kendra, Mundian emphasized that corruption would not be tolerated at any cost. He stated that strict action is being taken against those found guilty of demanding bribes. He added that the Punjab government has established an Anti-Corruption Action helpline for reporting such incidents.
Referring to the functioning of various departments, the Cabinet Minister noted that the government is making significant efforts to improve their operations to ensure people face no difficulties in accessing administrative services. He added that the issues of the past 70 years are being addressed, and significant improvements will be visible in due time.
During the visit, Hardeep Singh Mundian also interacted with employees and people present at the sub-tehsil office and seva kendra, gathering information about the administrative services provided by the government.
