A high-level multi-state Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Tuberculosis (TB) will be organized at PGIMS, Rohtak, on May 17.
Rohtak, May 15, 2026: A high-level multi-state Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Tuberculosis (TB) will be organized at PGIMS, Rohtak, on May 17.
Sharing this information, Dr. Dhruv Chaudhary said that the conference—organized by the Departments of Community Medicine, Microbiology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Respiratory Medicine, in collaboration with the District and State TB Cells of Haryana—will be attended by the Chairpersons of the State Task Forces from Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the Joint Commissioner and the Additional Deputy Director General from the Central TB Division of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will also participate in the conference.
The conference will feature special discussions regarding the progress of the 'TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan', an evaluation of the current activities under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), and the advancements made in modern TB treatment and preventive therapies.
