MSME Industry to reimburse expenses on Product Certification Licences from National/International Bodies

Ludhiana, October 23, 2013: Avtar Singh, General Secretary and Upkar Singh Ahuja, Joint Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana, in a statement issued on Wednesday said that as per decision of the Madras High Court Judgment (No.888) of 2010 delivered on March 21, the Ministry of MSME has launched a Scheme under NMCP Programme to reimburse expenses incurred by MSME Units to acquire Product Certification Licences from National/International Bodies; to an extent 75% of the actual expenditure limiting Rs.1.50 lakh for National and Rs. 2.00 lakh for International Certification.
It would be beneficial to Manufactures and Exporters as National/International certification cost is quite high, they said. www.cityairnews.com
