Mrs India Beauty Queen 2014 announced in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 25, 2014: The organisers of Mrs India Beauty Queen announced the launch this year’s pageant at a press conference held at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana this afternoon.
This year the pageant is being organised by Bir Kaur Dhillon, Mrs India Globe 2013. Hotel Hyatt Regency at Ludhiana is the venue partner for the 2014 pageant. Winner of the Mrs. India Beauty Queen will compete internationally at the "Mrs Globe" 2014, which will be held later this year in China.
The charity being supported by Mrs India Beauty Queen 2014 is WOWW Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Manmeet Singh, F&B Director, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana said: ``We are pleased to be a part of Mrs India Beauty Queen 2014. This event focuses on empowering women and showcasing their complete facet and personality. Also, this is the first time that such a grand event on this scale is being held in Ludhiana putting our hometown on the world map.’’

Pageant Organiser – Bir Kaur Dhillon
Bir Kaur Dhillon is Mrs. India Globe 2013. She is a noted fashion designer in Vancouver, Canada and is known for her unique designs with a focuson preserving centuries old Fashion Art from all over India. She is passionate about celebrating womanhood while creating awareness about two causes that are closest to her heart; gender equality and restoration of our ancient monuments. Birpal has been a crusader for both these causes through her fashion campaigns, endorsements, and participation in fashion shows and global pageants. She wears multiple hats and is lovingly referred to as “Supermom” by her family.
She is excited and looks forward to bringing this pageant to India with the hope to create strong women leaders that will pioneer and be leaders in their communities and strong catalyst for positive change.
Mrs India Beauty Queen –The Pageant
The first Mrs. India Beauty Queen Pageant will be held at various venues in India from June to August 2014.
This pageant will be the first in India and will set new trends inthe Indian beauty and fashion industry. It will give a platform to married Indian women so that they can showcase their talents and pursue their dream of winning a beauty pageant. Mrs. India Beauty Queen promotes inner beauty, character development, leadership, on-going education, broad intellectual interests, artistic talents, healthy lifestyles, social minded, civic involvement, and cultural awareness. While Traditional beauty pageants value women solely by how well they fit into conventional beauty standards, Mrs. India Beauty Queen is unique, innovative, and showcases what true beauty is. The pageant celebrates the Indian mothers and wives who juggle countless roles and responsibilities while also pursuing their passions and very often successful professions.
