MPS Principal, Dr. Alka Kapur moderated panel discussion at Nitya Naari Conclave 2025
Dr. Alka Kapur, Principal of Modern Public School (MPS), Shalimar Bagh, graced the Nitya Naari—The Power of Her National Conclave 2025 as a distinguished guest and panel moderator. The prestigious event, organised by the Sarva Rithu Seva Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, was held at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Bringing together some of the most influential voices of the country, the conclave stood as a grand tribute to women changemakers whose vision, resilience, and leadership continue to inspire the nation.

New Delhi, August 29, 2025: Dr. Alka Kapur, Principal of Modern Public School (MPS), Shalimar Bagh, graced the Nitya Naari—The Power of Her National Conclave 2025 as a distinguished guest and panel moderator. The prestigious event, organised by the Sarva Rithu Seva Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, was held at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Bringing together some of the most influential voices of the country, the conclave stood as a grand tribute to women changemakers whose vision, resilience, and leadership continue to inspire the nation.
A key highlight of the event was that the felicitation of women leaders who had redefined possibilities of success in society. The event also presented an insightful panel discussion on the theme of “Breaking Barriers: Women Driving Change”, moderated by Dr. Kapur.
Sharing her experience from the event, Alka Kapur, Principal MPS, Shalimar Bagh, stated, “Indeed, it was an honour to share the stage with such visionary women leaders who were emphasized the role of leadership skills and self-belief in overcoming stereotypes. Every woman who spoke and was appreciated is a living example of how women can propel the country's progress through grit and resilience. It was truly enlightening to be part of this amazing conclave, and I had a chance to know all these wonder women of today, who have the power to define the future beyond traditional roles.”
The panel moderated by Dr. Alka included key stakeholders in women's empowerment in India, including Kavita Partidar, Member of Rajya Sabha ; the former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) and serving MP Swati, Megha Prasad, the senior news anchor & editor of ABP News; Anjum Moudgil, Olympian & Arjuna Award recipient; Meetu Puri, Chairperson COWE; Dolly Jain, saree draping artist and YouTuber; and renowned actor & entrepreneur Tina Ahuja. Their insights and viewpoints were eye-opening for the audience and fostered a sense of solidarity in the room. Some other notable guests were Himani Arora, former FLO president; entrepreneur Sonali Jain; and Vijaya Rahatkar, chairperson of the National Commission for Women.
While the conclave honoured the contributions of women from various fields, it also initiated conversations on how to create a society that recognizes women’s leadership on all fronts.
