MP Manish Tewari lays foundation stone for road infrastructure project worth Rs 2.36 crore

Banga, November 25, 2021: In a major road infrastructure push of the district, Sri Anandpur Sahib Member of Parliament (MP) Manish Tewari on Thursday laid the foundation stone of widening and strengthening of 4.71-KM stretch of Mandali to Kultham worth Rs 2.36 crore.

Accompanied by Punjab Large Industrial Development Board Chairman Pawan Dewan, District Planning Committee Chairman Satvir Singh Palli Jhilki, Ex MLA Mohan Lal, MP said that the road would be widened from existing width of 10-feet to 18- Feet under the project and would be completed soon.
He said that that it was long pending demand of the local people and the project would ensure smooth commuting to the people.
He directed the officials to ensure speedy completion of the project to facilitate the people.
Meanwhile hailing the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for working round the clock to ensure progress and prosperity of state, Tewari said that these path breaking initiatives would
transform the Punjab into number one in the country. He added that the state government is committed towards the all-round development of the district.
Member of Parliament also demands from the Union Government to accept the demand of farmers to ensure guaranteed MSP of the crops by enacting a law in the upcoming winter session.
