MP Manish Tewari inaugurates water pipelines and water meter chambers laid in Sector 56
Continuing his vision for the overall development of Chandigarh, local Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today inaugurated the water pipelines and water meter chambers installed in 320 small flats in Sector 56, Chandigarh. For this project, a grant of Rs. 13.63 lakh was released from the MP’s discretionary fund. On this occasion, area councillor Manaur and Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky were also present.
Chandigarh, April 4, 2026: Continuing his vision for the overall development of Chandigarh, local Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today inaugurated the water pipelines and water meter chambers installed in 320 small flats in Sector 56, Chandigarh. For this project, a grant of Rs. 13.63 lakh was released from the MP’s discretionary fund. On this occasion, area councillor Manaur and Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky were also present.
Speaking at the event, MP Tewari said that addressing the problems of city residents and providing them with basic amenities is his responsibility. With this objective, he has been consistently allocating funds from his discretionary quota for various development works. He added that this project will provide clean water to the residents of the area, which had been a long-pending demand.
Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky and Councillor Manaur thanked the MP for releasing funds for the development of the area. They said that the Congress believes in development-oriented politics, and this project is an example of that.
