MP Manish Tewari handed over 5 E-Golf Carts to the Legal Fraternity

Chandigarh, November 27, 2025: Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today handed over five e-golf carts to the legal fraternity at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. These carts have been purchased by the Chandigarh Administration from the grant released under his MPLADS  funds.

Addressing representatives of the Punjab and Haryana Bar Association, Tewari said that the legal fraternity has a significant role in strengthening the justice system and ensuring justice for the people.

He also expressed gratitude for their support during the Lok Sabha elections and assured his continued assistance in meeting any future infrastructure requirements of the High Court.

Tewari urged the legal fraternity to initiate a discussion on what Chandigarh should look like in the year 2050, so that the Administrative structure of Chandigarh can be accordingly reformed, upgraded and made future ready  in line with the needs and aspirations of the coming generations .

Speaking about the e-golf carts, he said they will greatly help in easy mobility within the High Court premises.

Punjab and Haryana Bar Association President Sartaj Singh Narula, Vice President Nilesh Bhardwaj, Honorary Secretary Gagandeep Jammu, Joint Secretary Bhagyashree Setia, Treasurer Harvinder Singh Mann, former High Court Judge Ajay Tewari, Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky, former Mayor Ravinder Pal Singh Pali, and senior Congress leader Chander Mukhi Sharma graced the occasion with their august presence.
