MP Dr Amar Singh lashes out at BJP over Lakhimpur Khiri incident 

Raikot (Ludhiana), October 5, 2021: Fatehgarh Sahib Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Amar Singh on Tuesday lashed out at Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) over Lakhimpur Khiri incident in which four farmers were among eight persons killed after a convoy of SUVs including one owned by the son of a Union Minister of State and demanded immediate arrest of the accused involved into this incident. 
Dr Amar Singh said that food growers are protesting since last 11 months against three farm laws and seeking repeal of these contentious laws but the pleas of the farmers have fallen on deaf ears. He said that Modi government is anti-farmer and completely insensitive towards peasantry. 
MP said that more than 900 farmers have  got martyrdom during the protest since last November but Modi government is continue to harass them with its adamant attitude. He sought immediate repeal of these laws for the welfare of the farming community.
