Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora, immediately after the voting concluded, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the voters for coming out in good numbers and actively participating in the democratic process.

Ludhiana, June 19, 2025: Polling for the Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency concluded peacefully this evening. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora, immediately after the voting concluded, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the voters for coming out in good numbers and actively participating in the democratic process.
In a statement issued after voting closed, Arora said, “I am deeply grateful to the people of Ludhiana West for their warmth, encouragement, and enthusiastic participation in today’s election. Your support has been the greatest strength throughout this campaign. I feel truly humbled by the love and trust I have received from every section of the constituency.”
Arora emphasized that his campaign remained focused on positivity, clean politics, and development-oriented issues. He said that voters responded warmly to his message of change through work, not words. “I chose not to indulge in mudslinging or personal attacks. My goal has always been to present a vision for Ludhiana West that puts people’s welfare first. It is heartening to see that this approach resonated with the electorate,” he added.
He also thanked the Election Commission, security personnel, and polling staff for ensuring a smooth and fair voting process. “I appreciate the tireless efforts of all officials who worked hard to make this election safe, peaceful, and efficient,” he noted.
Arora expressed confidence that the people’s mandate would be in favour of good governance, transparency, and progress. “I’m hopeful for a favourable mandate”, he said, adding that his commitment to serve the people of Ludhiana West would remain steadfast. He would continue working for the betterment of Ludhiana, as he has always done.
He concluded by appealing to all residents to stay united in the spirit of democracy and progress, and promised that, if elected, he would be a voice for every citizen of Ludhiana West.
