MP Arora takes blessings during Bhagwan Jagannath Rath Yatra 

Ludhiana, June 20, 2023: AAP MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora enthusiastically participated and took blessings in the Bhagwan Jagannath Rath Yatra taken out from various parts of the city today.

On the occasion, he was offered `prasad’ and memento. 

Speaking the occasion, he congratulated organisers of the rath yatra which has attained a great significance over the years.  The rath yatra was first started from the year 1996. He said the organisers are doing appreciable work by connecting people with religion and spiritualism, which is need of the hour to inculcate moral values among the people, especially the youth.  

Arora said he is delighted to see huge crowd of devotees despite scorching heat. He added this shows the real spirit of people towards religion and spiritualism. 

Further, Arora said he has noticed that people from various religions have participated in the rath yatra which indicates that there prevails complete brotherhood in the state. The today’s crowd also shows that there prevails complete peace in the state. 

The rath yatra commenced from Durga Mata Mandir and passed through various parts of the city.

Bhagwan Jagannath Rath Yatra Mahotsav Committee chairman Rajesh Dhanda, president Satish Gupta, general secretary Adv Sanjiv Sood Banka, secretary Anil Saluja, vice chairman Sukhdarshan Jain Bhola and others were present on the occasion.
