Mothers, kids ramp walk mark Mothers’ Day celebrations

Panchkula, May 17, 2019: A mom-and-kids ramp walk, interaction sessions , fun games and quizzes marked the Mothers’ Day celebrations at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula today. Over 30 mothers walked the ramp wearing western and ethnic wear with their kids who seemed equally enjoying the show while following their respective mothers’ footsteps during walk with aplomb. During sessions, the doctors highlighted the various lifestyle measures which mothers especially working one should undertake to enjoy a healthy and stress free life. They said that 75% of corporate women suffered from lifestyle ailments including obesity, chronic backache ,anxiety ,depression . The women should take charge of their health and make lifestyle changes. The role of exercise and healthy diet in preventing disease influenced by sedentary lifestyle and obesity was also highlighted besides nutritionists giving tips on weight reduction through a healthy diet.
