More than 8800 visitors visit light & sound show along with digital museum
Ludhiana, October 12, 2019: Dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a digital museum and a light and sound show is being organised in the mela grounds of Punjab Agricultural University, here. The digital museum has already been set up from October 11 onwards, while two shows each of light & sound show were organised today while two would be organised tomorrow. More than 5500 persons attended the light & sound shows today, while the digital museum was attended by more than 3300 persons. The first light & sound show was attended by Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Aggarwal, Chairman Mr Amarjit Singh Tikka, Vice Chairman Mr Mohd Gulab, besides several others. The digital museum started amidst huge response from the people from across the state today, while two shows of light & sound shows were held today, while two would be held tomorrow. More than 3300 people visited the digital museum today, that started at 6:30 am and ended at 6 pm. tomorrow, i.e. October 12 and on October 13, 2019. Two shows of light & sound would be held on each of the days. Today, more than 3000 people from different age groups and walks of life visited the digital museum. Ever since the digital museum was opened for public at 6:30 am in the morning today, a large number of city residents, mainly who come to PAU for morning walk visited it, followed by a large number of students from different schools & colleges. Again in the evening, a large number of residents visited the digital museum. Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal stated that people of Ludhiana have been dyed in the hues of soulful events with the help of ultra modern shows. He informed that the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji have been exhibited in the digital museum. He further informed tomorrow would be the last day and people can visit the digital museum from 6:30 am to 6 pm and two light & sound shows would be held from 7 pm-7:45 pm and from 8:30 pm-9:15 pm. The first of its kind floating light and sound shows would be organised on October 23 and 24, 2019 near village Ladhowal (near toll plaza) on the banks of river Sutlej, here, and would be the centre of attraction for the people in this series. He also informed that entry for these shows is completely free of cost and urged the residents of district Ludhiana to attend these shows in large numbers along with their families.
