Jalandhar, October 16, 2019: CII organized a free Health check-up for industry workers in association with NHS Hospital at Alaska Vinko Auto Industries, Jalandhar today.
The activity focused on getting general physician check-up for workers in the industry and diagnosing any health issue that might have been neglected due to their daily work routine. More than 300 workers were examined at the camp.
The objective of the camp was to bring affordable healthcare to the workers and to spread awareness about lifestyle-related diseases.
Mr Rajesh Gupta, Executive Director, Alaska Vinko Auto Industries, on this occasion complimented & thanked the visiting doctors from NHS Hospital and remarked, "CII besides actively taking up industry related issues with the Government and working for overall competitiveness of industry has also been actively contributing towards organising various CSR initiatives and we intend to organise more such health camps for the benefit of the people and industry.”
In an endeavour to serve the society, NHS Hospital would like to partner with CII to make it a monthly routine.
