Jalandhar: Ivy World School, under the ageis of the Vasal Education Society organized “Monsoon activity with origami” in the Kindergarten wing.

Monsoon is a beautiful season of the year and is a gift from God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of freshness and greenery. Due to the pandemic restrictions, this year’s Monsoon Magic Week was celebrated virtually by young learners of Ivy.

The week was planned with lot of engaging origami activities suggested by educators to children. Origami is an activity that involves the art of folding paper with certain techniques to make something new. The young Ivyians participated in this creative venture with great zeal and high spirits.

The budding stars of Ivy were amazed to see  the transformation of a flat  square sheet square of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting. Tiny tots created unique and exclusive boats under the supervision of their parents to showcase their finesse in paper craft. 

Children of K1 created beautiful rainy scene with papers & K2 learners executed their creative skills by making monsoon umbrellas  .Keeping  theme in mind they displayed their artistic skills with great pleasure and innovation. This activity triggered children’s imagination and enhanced their creative skills.

Mrs.S. Chauhan, Principal, Ivy World School applauded the participants on their creativity skills. The President of Vasal education Society, Shri K K Vasal, The Chairman Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Director Mrs. Ena Vasal, and The CEO Mr. Raghav Vasal conveyed their worthy thoughts that paper folding craft  proved to be a valuable  in “schematic learning through repetitive actions”., enhancing motor skills.
