Moms, kids carnival held in Mohali

Mohali, May 26, 2019: An ‘Infotainment Moms and Kids’ carnival was held at Homeland Heights, sector 70, Mohali on Sunday.

Anchor-turned-singer Satinder Satti inaugurated the carnival.

During occasion, Dr Parampreet Ghuman, senior gynecologist and Dr Rashmi Pandove ,senior pediatrician at Max Hospital, Mohali addressed health talks.

The kids were made aware of healthy eating, healthy playing. They were urged to increase outside play activities with friends and say no to TV viewing and mobile gaming.

The carnival was also aimed to make parents aware of long term implications of sedentary, mobile addicted lifestyle which is not only increasing the incidence of obesity, diabetes and hypertension in the growing kids but also is a major reason of increasing incidence of loneliness behavioural problems and clinical depression later on in life.

The mother and their kids also took part in zumba dance, fun games, drawing competitions and photoshoots.
