Moms of India (Hyderabad Chapter) enjoy memorable outing

Hyderabad, April 8, 2019: It inarguably ranks foremost as a happening online Facebook Group in its genre. And its popularity and support base is growing by the day.

Brought together as an exclusive group for her friends by Chemistry lecturer and mother of twins, Erum Saeed, on the Republic Day of 2016, “MOMS OF INDIA” (MOI) today commands an overwhelming member-strength of 1.5 lakh mothers drawn from 14-15 States but based all over the globe.

It is generally acknowledged as the fastest growing community of Moms on Facebook.

According to MOI Founder Erum Saeed, ‘it was founded essentially to connect young mothers together to help discuss about parenting. It has been so well received that today, thanks to dynamic women from various categories and professions, we have become multi-dimensional as we strive to empower mothers.”

The MOI Admin points out that ‘MOI will be every mother’s Google, doctor, teacher, nurse, motivator and guide, irrespective of in which city one is staying.”

The group, which has conducted meetings of its members across several cities, organised one in Hyderabad on April 07, 2019.

MOI began its Hyderabad activities a year back with Lalitha Deepthi Mutta and Bharati Kosuru as the Admins.

It was a wonderful Sunday experience to over 30 mothers and their children when they assembled at Gazebo Restaurant on Road 3 in Banjara Hills.

The Admins said that ‘we extend all kinds of support to the members, and more so when mothers need help or have a query. It is so well received and attended so diligently that soon as a request comes, hundreds of experienced moms come up with suggestions and ideas. That apart, members from the city from where the queries have been posted will personally visit the mother’s home and provide assistance and guidance. The idea is give comfort to every new mother and boost her confidence that help is round the corner’

The atmosphere at Gazebo Restaurant was thrilling with several activities undertaken in one go. The 30 moms were engrossed in getting introduced to one another as they were online friends till then. Getting into motherly discussions with participation of senior members was an experience in itself for the new mothers.

As for the kids, who became friends, it was an outing worth remembering as they were treated to fun-filled events Games and it was followed by small fashion walk of MOI members .

MOI made a memorable debut in Hyderabad. Each mother, who attended the event, assured to take the MOI message forward. It revolves around giving every mother some ‘Me-time’ and to realize her individual identity and her societal worth.
