Mom and Me online event organized in Doaba College

Jalandhar, May 9, 2022: Student Welfare Committee, Doaba College Jalandhar celebrated Mother’s Day by organizing an online programme entitled ‘Mom & Me’ on May 8, 2022. The enthusiastic participation of mothers of students added an inconceivable vibrance to the entire event. Formally welcoming the mothers, Prof. Surjeet Kaur said that mother is the first teacher and best friend in our life. It is the mother only whose blessings and values help us to become successful in our life.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, said that our existence in this world is because of our mother and we are always indebted to our mother for her unconditional love and support. She is the one who gives us strength to face the problems in our life and always remains the best friend with whom we can share everything.

Mrs. Kusum Bhandari, mother of Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari sang a very melodious bhajan to seek the blessings of Almighty and spread positivity in the whole atmosphere. The attendees were updated with the state of art infrastructure of the college by Ms. Priya Chopra, Assistant Prof. Dept. of JMC. Mothers were also entertained with games like ‘Bollywood Queen’ and ‘Bujho To Jane’ conducted by Prof. Priya Chopra and Prof. Rajnish. Students too expressed their emotions towards their mothers by presenting beautiful poems, dances, greeting cards and songs. Convener Ms. Sonia Kalra, formally thanked all the participants for sparing their valuable time for today’s event and making it successful. Nearly 100 students participated along with their mothers and the event was live on Facebook too.
