Ludhiana, May 19, 2025: MLAs from the district ignited a wave of community action on Monday, spearheading the Nasha Mukti Yatra across their constituencies as part of the Punjab Government’s Yudh Nashya Virudh campaign. This vibrant grassroots movement, drawing massive crowds, is rallying Punjabis to stamp out the drug scourge and reclaim the state’s future.
MLAs Sarvjeet Kaur Manuke, Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Madan Lal Bagga, Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Ashok Parashar Pappi, Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, Jiwan Singh Sangowal, Jagtar Singh Dyalpura, Manwinder Singh Giaspura, Hakam Singh Thekedar, and others united in a resolute call to action. “This campaign is a battle for all Punjabis to stand together and build a drug-free state,” they added, highlighting the yatra’s power to mobilize communities against addiction.
