MLA Surinder Dawar commences distribution of Corona Fateh Kits

Ludhiana: MLA Ludhiana (North) Surinder Dawar along with Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM east) Baljinder Dhillon on Thursday, started the distribution of Corona Fateh Kits for COVID-19 positive patient for his constituency from Civil Hospital here.

MLA Dawar said that the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Government is committed to serve the COVID-19 patients in all possible ways and distribution of these kits will go a long way in helping the patients to monitor themselves at home.
Divulging details, MLA Dawar said that the medical kit consists of 18 items, including a pulse oximeter, digital thermometer, essential medicines, and among others, along with educational material and instructions on the use of medicines. He said that these kits will be disbursed among all the COVID-19 positive patients in isolation, whether at home or in hospitals. 

He further said that the main motive behind distributing these kits was to ensure regular self-monitoring of health indicators of all COVID-19 patients in isolation and these kits will also be distributed by the Rapid response teams (RRTs) to the home isolated positive patients at their doorsteps.
