MLA Sondh dedicates new bus terminal in Khanna 

Khanna, January 1, 2022: Giving a New Year Gift to the people of Khanna, Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sondh on Sunday inaugurated new bus terminal at a cost of Rs 3.73 crore in the city. The bus stand has been named after Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia. 

Divulging details, MLA Sondh said that this new bus stand will facilitate the people in getting buses with ease. He said that new bus stand has 12 counters, canteens, waiting rooms, staff rooms, inquiry rooms, ticket counters, modern toilet block, fire hydrants and others facilities in it. He said that now every bus crossing the city, would pass from the bus stand. 

Sondh said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was committed for the development of the state. He said that he had raised the issue of change in design of Elevated Road Project in Khanna. Besides, a project to shift the electric poles will be started soon at a cost of Rs 10.38 crores out of which 70 percent funds to be spent by Khanna Municipal Council and 30 percent by PSPCL. Moreover, five more Aam Aadmi Clinics will also be dedicated to the people on January 26.
