Ludhiana, July 14, 2025: MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu from Atam Nagar assembly constituency inaugurated the construction work of 8 streets of Nirmal Nagar and Dugri village under Ward No. 48.

MLA Sidhu said that about Rs 22.70 lakh will be spent under this project.

Ward in-charge Pardeep Singh Appu and dignitaries of the area were also present on the occasion.

MLA Sidhu said that this initiative reflects our continuous efforts to ensure timely development and fulfill the long-pending civic needs of the people.

MLA Sidhu clarified that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing quality education, health services and basic amenities to the people in the state and concrete efforts are being made in this direction.

He said that the promises made to the local residents during the elections are being fulfilled one by one.

He said that the condition of these roads in Nirmal Nagar and village Dugri was very bad and it became difficult for the passers-by to pass during the rainy season. He further said that the construction of these streets will make traffic comfortable and pave the way for development.

The residents of the area thanked MLA Sidhu and also gave him special honours.
